Why this site compares rather than explains
The cluster already publishes a full account of both options: how each class of peeling agent works, what each class of device does, the physics of light in skin and the anatomy of the healing response sit on the laser and skin material and in Dr. He's own writing. Reproducing that here would help nobody. This site exists for the stage before it, where someone is choosing between two routes to the same kind of change and needs to know how deep the problem sits. The comparison rules for this type of page are the opposite of how comparison pages are usually written: compare the facts, give both columns equal weight, and never present one option as the default.
Why this page does not pick one
A peel works from the surface downwards and a laser reaches deeper, and depth is what decides both the change and the risk. A page that ended by declaring one of them the answer would have answered a different question from the one the reader arrived with. Every row here is a fact pair rather than a score. The comparison is resolved in an examination under good light, where the depth of the problem is established on your own skin, and not on a page.
How it is reviewed
Content is medically reviewed by Ke He, MD, Deputy Director and Head of Skin and Laser Aesthetics at Chongqing West District Hospital, and the review date appears on every article. The site names no device brand and no product brand and describes agents and devices by class only, quotes no dosage and no price, guarantees no outcome, and states plainly that pigment change is the risk both options share and that neither reverses sun damage for good.
What no website can do
It cannot judge the depth of your pigment, see whether a wrinkle is present at rest, or know how your skin behaves after injury. Those answers require an examination rather than a description. Read this site to arrive at that appointment able to describe what bothers you and to ask how deep treatment would have to go to reach it — not to arrive at a conclusion without it.
